I am hosting Bunco at my house this month and I thought it would be fun to make some cute dice boxes to put the prize money in. They turned out soooo cute. I used the square box from Cricuts Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge. I cut them out at fit to page. I than used George and Basic Shapes cartridge to make the black dots. I cut them out at 1/2". I used a real die to determine placement of all dots. For the little tags on top I used a fiskars tag punch and than stamped on the bunco tally pad stamp that I bought from Creative Time with Emma's stamp set "Game Night". I LOVE this stamp set. The dice really came out so cute!
I have such a passion for crafting. It is my downtime and my relaxation method. I love finding new ideas and suprising everyone with my work. Anything crafty is fun! Scrapbooking, Card making, and other projects!

File Folder Organizer
I had seen a mini album tutorial made with a file folder and so I put one together. I showed it to a friend of mine and she thought it would be cool if it was designed to be a mini planner. So I took the basic tutorial I found and revamped it. I LOVE the way it turned out!!! I found the tutorial here. My friend wanted an envelope to put receipts and returns. For the "receipts" I used a return envelope that came in a bill. I covered it with scrap paper. I used a template and made a coin envelope for the "returns" envelope. I used velcro tabs on the envelopes for easy closure and opening. She also wanted a "notes" and "to do" lists. I created these in photoshop and printed them out. I used cardstock as a backing and stapled them together. Than I covered the top with scrap paper. I added a mini calendar on one of the pockets (which I created in Photoshop and printed) as well as a place for some post-it-notes. I also added a mini pocket and some decorated paper clips. These are for special things that need to be put somewhere so they don't get lost.

Cute Envelope Mini Album
I found a tutorial on you tube for a really cute mini album using 6x9 envelopes. I took the idea and changed it up a bit. My daughter, Katelynn, is going to give it to her friend for her birthday. I really think it turned out so cute. I'm very happy with it and I know the friend will love it. It was so easy to make and I love the extra pockets for either journaling or more photos.

New Blog
Because I'm really getting into my crafting and participating in more blog hops I wanted to create a blog to showcase all of my fun craft and scrapbooking projects. I really hope to post on a regular basis as I complete a project. My goal is to get to a place where I actually post short videos on how I created my project. For now I will try to detail in each post the steps I took to complete the projects. I'm very excited to begin this new venture!
